By the early 2000’s there was only one video arcade left in New York City: Chinatown Fair on Mott Street in the heart of chinatown. It was a beloved home to an extraordinarily diverse community of teenagers. THE LOST ARCADE, is an intimate portrait of this community and what happens when Chinatown Fair closes its doors after 70 years in business.

The New York Times wrote, “Part scrappy, part sweet and wholly enjoyable, “The Lost Arcade” is a love letter to a vanished piece of New York, and a little wish for the future.”

And The New Yorker described it as, “Raw and intimate.”

The Lost Arcade played festivals around the world including International Film Festival Rotterdam, DOC NYC, Open City Docs London, Melbourne International Film Festival, Glasgow International Film Festival, IFFBoston.

It went on to open at the Metrograph in New York and the Roxie in San Francisco in August 2016.

The film is produced by 26 Aries, in Association with IGN Entertainment and Wheelhouse Creative.
